Restoring St Bride’s

The current work repairing and restoring the roof and stonework of St Bride’s is thanks to generous support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the City Churches Grants Committee and legacies from our congregation.

The work is being carried out by specialist contractors from Paye who continue to make excellent progress and are scheduled to complete this May.

Ministry to Journalism

St Bride’s historic links to printing and journalism continue today and extend to all those involved in the media. Our Journalists’ Altar and annual commemorative service remember those in need, those who have died or those in danger bringing us the news.

Why we are known as the Journalists' Church
