Choral Evensong is one of the glories of traditional Anglican worship and the nation’s cultural heritage. In place of a preached sermon, this service features a Sermon in Music which gives our professional choir the opportunity to sing an extended anthem, or sequence of anthems, on a theme relevant to the liturgical season. All are welcome to attend this beautiful and reflective weekly event.
After this service counter-tenor Bob Bryan will be standing down as a regular member of St Bride’s Choir. Bob has been a member for 28 years. A reception will be held after Evensong to mark his leaving and to raise a glass and give thanks for his dedication, talent, experience and friendship.
This service will not be available online. You can find details of our online worship and access to previous services via our Online Worship page.
