OTHER EVENTS
Lord Mayor’s Show
The Lord Mayor’s Show is one of the best-known annual events in London as well as one of the longest-established, dating back to the 13th century.
Every year here at St Bride’s we open our doors and offer a warm welcome, shelter, and refreshments to all visitors to the Lord Mayor’s Show.
This year the Show takes place on Saturday 9th November, so please spread the word and join us between 10:30am and 2:30pm for hot drinks, sandwiches and cake to raise funds for the church.
You can find details about travel on the day on the Show’s website here.
We offer our congratulations to Alderman Alastair King who will become the 696th Lord Mayor of London.
150 floats will take part in a three mile-long procession to mark the Lord Mayor’s first full day in office.
The processions departs from Mansion House at 11am and journeys to the Royal Courts by way of St Paul’s, Cheapside and Fleet Street, right past our doors.
If you would like to be involved in helping out at St Bride’s, please contact John or Joanne Forrest at forrest_ascot@msn.com. Cake donations would be gratefully received.
We look forward to seeing you for what promises, as always, to be a great day out for all the family!
