A service of thanksgiving for the life of David Wells, former journalist, will take place at St Bride’s Church, the Journalists’ Church, on Thursday 22nd February at 11:30am.
Wells excelled at writing, communicating to large audiences and reporting on unfolding events. He began as a journalist and held senior roles at the Financial Times and Bloomberg News.
Wells also commentated for National Public Radio’s Marketplace and was a frequent contributor on networks including CNBC, CNN, and the BBC.
He had recently started as a Managing Director at BlackRock. Previously he was a Partner at Prosek and held senior in-house roles at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan.
