A service of thanksgiving for the life of Emily Morgan, journalist and broadcaster, will take place at St Bride’s Church, the Journalists’ Church, on Thursday 9th November at 11:30am.
Morgan began her 23 year long career at ITV News as a producer, then as a reporter and correspondent before becoming Health and Science Editor.
She anchored ITV’s coronavirus coverage, reporting from frontline hospitals and led investigations into racial prejudice and long Covid among others.
Morgan was described by colleagues as a “brilliant journalist”’ and a “wonderful woman” and praised by Steve Barclay, the health and social care secretary, and Rachel Corp, Chief Executive of ITN. However, her greatest source of pride was her family.
