Vigil for fallen journalists

All are welcome to join members of the London branch of the National Union of Journalists as they keep vigil in honour of journalist colleagues who have been killed while reporting, remembering particularly those who have died during the the Israel-Gaza war.

The 30-minute vigil takes place outside the church and will include a minute’s silence after which the names of fallen colleagues will be read aloud.

The date coincides with the International Workers Memorial Day which is a day of remembrance and action for workers killed, disabled, injured, or made unwell by their work.

There are plaques remembering journalists and support crew who have died during the conflict at our Journalists’ Altar inside the church.
