Ma mère l'oye
Selections from Six Morceaux
Janet Obi-Keller and David Wordsworth formed their piano duo in 2005, exploring the much loved piano duet/two piano repertoire of Mozart, Schubert, Debussy, Ravel and Rachmaninov. They have performed rarely heard works by Lennox Berkeley, John Ireland, E J Moeran, Sir Richard Rodney Bennett and Richard Arnell. Their performances have highlighted the work of a number of living composers, including Henri Dutilleux, Lionel Sainsbury and Hilary Tann.
In 2011 the Duo made their US debut playing at Columbia University (New York) and Union College (New York State). The Concordiensis of Union College described the Piano duo as "strong and very enjoyable".
In 2012, they gave a recital as part of 'John Ireland in Chelsea'; a festival organised to celebrate the music of the British composer. The British Music Society noted that "all the performances had great sincerity, involvement and admirable ensemble by the duettists".
