St Bride's: News

All things bright and beautiful

Restoration_Pics resized.jpgWe are delighted that restoration work on the interior of the church began immediately after the Easter Bank Holiday. This work will not only conserve the interior of the building, but it will also make it cleaner and brighter. There will be some unavoidable changes to our schedule during these works.

Sunday Services

All Sunday Services will take place as usual throughout the period when the work is being carried out, which will hopefully be completed by the end of June.

While the scaffolding is being erected, the main church will be closed to the public from Monday to Saturday until mid May. The crypt chapels and crypt museum will remain open from Monday to Friday, and the building will close at 5pm each day.

Weekday Services

Our weekday Morning Prayer at 8:15am and our Wednesday Eucharist at 1:15pm will continue as usual throughout this time.

Space for Silence

Space for Silence between 5pm and 6pm will continue in the crypt.

Tours and Recitals

Regrettably, some events will have to be suspended until all of the work is completed. As a result, guided tours and recitals will be discontinued until August.
